Starting this January 2008 we will be offering the Skyartec WASP V2 and the new WASP V3. I believe that we are the first in the United states to offer these helicopters.

We will carry the 4 channel V2 with a head lock gyro and the 6 channel 3D, V3 at first. We hope to carry the 4 channel V3 in the future as well. All of the Skyartec models come with brushless motors as standard equipment. They do offer brushed versions but we have no desire to stock these as they would eventually be upgraded by their owners.

We do have replacement spare parts for these 2 models as well as upgrade parts.

The WASP V2 differs from the regular fixed pitch RC helicopter in that the pitch of the blades is adjustable. This allows the pilot to regulate its head speed via the pitch of the blades. We do recommend that you check the pitch with a pitch guage.

The V2 and V3 will benefit from having the head properly set up and balanced before the first flight. Most of the adjustments are done in the factory but sometimes are not perfect out of the box, as with any RTF(ready to fly) RC heli.
