I was informed by our Walkera sales rep that a 2.4GHZ edition of the 4#3 is now available. It is not on Walkeras web site at the time of this writing but we have ordered 12 of them and we should see them sometime in early February.

This is a first for Walkera to produce anything with 2.4GHZ technology. The benefit is that you can fly with friends or at your local flying spot and not have to worry about being on the same channel as others who are flying. There are no crystals to change. The radio scans for an open frequency on the 2.4 GHZ band and will automatically select one that is not being used. This is how I understand it anyway.

There are other models with 2.4 technology from walkera but at first we will only be getting the 4#3. I hope that other models will become available in 2.4GHZ as well, it seems to be where the future is taking us in model RC.
